Pros: br>Pros: Cute design, good size. br>Cons: Items are missing and the quality is inconsistent. br>br>According to the item description, there are 200 tags in total, 10 of each color. I counted the tags three times because some were bundled and others were mixed and loose due to the poor ziplock bag packaging (see photos). I believe an entire set of green tags is missing, as there were only 8/10 Aqua blue tags. The quality and weight of the paper varies by color (as shown in the side view). The kraft paper is very sturdy, whereas some of the other colors appear to be very thin, and the twine will most likely tear it when tied. One of the white sets has a near-glossy finish and is exceptionally thick. On some of the tags, there were also strange circular imprints, making them unusable. I'm wondering if I received a return due to the product's condition - some of the paper is so cheap that the cutouts are rough, whereas the tags made out of better paper have smooth finishes and look really nice. They acted as if they took what they needed and then returned the rest.
I purchased this to go with the 2" Homemade with Love Sticker I purchased for my canning. They are true size and a little too big for 4 and 8 ounce jars, so I recommend using them on pint (12 oz) or larger jars. I threaded a rubber band through the jar and wrapped it around it. I didn't want to tie all of the ties that came with them because they were good. Sharpie is a permanent marker that does not bleed.
These tags are exactly what they appear to be in the images. They were ideal for use as gift tags. The fact that the strings had been pre-taped was a huge plus for me. Since I was putting together a lot of these tags, I decided to take a shortcut. However, I found them to be a little too short for my taste. If you put the string through the tag as shown in the image (as I usually do), you'll barely have enough to tie it to a bag or a bow or anything else. If you're going to tape it to a package, make sure it's the right size. It is not a problem. But I liked the look of a tied tag, so I tried, but it looked like the tag was hanging itself on the bag's handle. *shrug* It seemed to work.
I use these to make blankets for friends, family, and my mother's occasional work friend. The ties are adorable and simple to tie, the cards are well-absorbent, and I can write care instructions with both ballpoint and fountain pens. br>Overall, the effect is rustic-looking. chic, giving the project a homey but polished feel. created a vibe.
They're well-made and long-lasting. I didn't use the hemp string that came with it because it was cut into pieces that were too short for my needs. I bought rubber bands to loop through the hole in the tag and then attach to my gifts because I didn't have a ball of twine. The fact that the tags' paper is thick enough to withstand some batting is appealing to me. The cutout hearts add a nice finishing touch.
So it wouldn't work to tie around something bigger, but for now, I'm using them as business cards, and the twine makes such a cute little bow! The twine frays easily, but I believe that is true of most (if not all) twine. Regardless, I think these are adorable and would make great gift tags, business cards, and other items. ๐.
WOW. They're a lot bigger than I thought they'd be. I was using them to label prices on merchandise, but they're so big that they make some of my smaller items look almost comical. lol. They do not include a string; you must thread the twine through the hole and tie it yourself.
They're sturdy tags at a great price. br>They have a nice thickness to them, are easy to write on, and have stood up to a windy morning. br>I would order from them again and recommend them to others.
