Not particularly powerful. Two sheets and a padded envelope are what I use. That's a lot of defense.
We were looking for cardboard that could help preserve these items for our family keepsakes. They are about 1/8 inch thick and very sturdy to support photos, comic books, magazines, and other items.br>br>
It didn't specify, but I used it under paper on which I was using permanent markers and it didn't bleed through.

However, if you want quality and aren't looking to save money, this is the way to go.
They're excellent canvas substitutes at a low cost.
Flat as a pancake. They're three sheets thick, but they're incredibly strong. They were supposed to be used as filler when shipping comics, but they're too thin to fit in the packaging. They'll be used as an additional board to tape the bagged and boarded comics to, which they're ideal for.
Sheets of cardboard that are all the same. It wasn't anything special, but it was exactly what I needed.
For crafts, I used this. It was a quick and easy way to obtain cardboard.
The ideal book weight.
These were purchased to support my 8. 5 x 11 spiral-bound notebook I send bubble mailers with bound music books. They're fantastic at keeping books from bending during shipping. I like knowing that my books are safe and secure and will arrive in perfect condition.
It's strong and durable, but once you fold it, there's no going back. However, be cautious of the sharp edges and corners. Because of their firmness, they are razor-sharp.
