I urge you not to The place stinks & stinks REMAINS A much worse odor than hot rice paddies. In my 12th year of life, I lived in Taiwan. It was beautiful and the people were wonderful. Thank you for taking me to see so much My favorite pair of shoes, which were embroidered with silk thread, were leather. I bought two pairs of leather shoes tanned with human waste. There is still a smell in the soles 60 years later. Unlike memory foam, this plastic is not the same as many others. As soon as I handled the leather, I washed my hands, but the smell remained until I used Are any of you familiar with Ohio's rest stops along the interstate highways?.
However, the leather is great. used this leather strapping on my walking stick handle because it was what I needed. Without even stopping to think about the fact there's no such thing as a 3 meter long cow, I thought I'd soak the strapping in hot water. The strapping is composed of three pieces, each 1 meter long. I applied heavy pressure on the wrap, and the joint came apart. This is totally my fault, but a little gorilla wood glue took care of the problem. My solution was to apply the glue directly to the stick and wrap the leather over it. The seam I tore apart, I tacked the two pieces together, and I used zip ties to hold the pieces together. I've been using it for 24 hours now, and it looks great. The leather is of excellent quality, and the stick looks nice. I love how comfortable the grip is.
OH, and the smell was awful! My first thought was that it would take an hour or two to dry out after I removed the roll from the package. I have now been unable to work in the room because of the stink and it gave me a headache. I will need to get this roll and another out to the garage and leave it for a few weeks to dry. I am using the leather for jewelry, so I hope it will go away. In addition, the smell of my hand was not pleasant After scrubbing with soap, I needed to dry my hands.
Two of these leather straps were purchased, but I only ended up using one, so I have one extra to use in the future. In the first strap, I tied knots similar to those found on statues and artwork from the period to attach a longsword scabbard to a belt. It is a nice dark brown color and the leather is the right thickness, so I was able to tie a knot and it is a perfect fit for the job. The knots on this sword stayed perfect even after wearing it for four days straight.
A very low quality product. There is an uneven cut and the section is not straight. It is very thin and unusable in some cases. It is possible for two connections to break easily. There is no softness to the leather. A nice shade of color.
This is not something you should order. This is terrible. There is still a bad smell about an hour after I washed my hands, and I can still smell that. The next day, I washed it and left it out in the sun Further, it seems to be made of tiny bits of leather that have been pressed into a band rather than an authentic leather strip. I have returned.
These are used to tie together different parts of my plate armor (e. g. I like this formula (orndel to pauldron) a lot as it does not conflict with the styling. The taper on some pieces is rather thin, and they can be rather weak when you tighten the knot, but all in all, there is so much there that it doesn't really matter. The convenience of having it around is excellent.
There is a plastic layer over which the color is layered Unlike other leathers I've used, this one does not appear to be dyed.
