The moss in this photo is no longer living it has been preserved to preserve its vibrant color. No, this preserved moss won't purify or regulate humidity, but you'll be able to get a beautiful finish for any craft or floral project!
The material is dyed and when it gets wet comes away from the wall in a mess. So, if you decide to attach this to the wall, make sure to use all natural moss.

It is highly recommended that you purchase this box if you plan to tackle a moss wall or something bigger than what a 16x16 canvas can handle. I put this moss in my moss wall in my salon and was pleased with its quality. I use this moss for bonsai trees.
I used the product for a moss wall and was very pleased with the results. Easy to glue, held up well when mashed into a moss board. I had trouble calculating how much moss to use, so for anyone else who is confused, I used one 8oz bag of chartreuse in order to create the project in the photo above.
There was a nice amount of light fluffy, dark green moss on this rock. In one of the chartreuse bags, the moss was good and bright, but in the other bag, the moss was clumpy, dingy, hard, and brittle. I had to spend more time utilizing the moss that was good. This made it work for me. However, I still gave this review 4 stars since I was extremely pleased with the other two bags. This is just so difficult to find preserved moss that I would still order it a second time. A bag out of three still looks good when it's 2 out of 3.
The pros are If you don't pay much attention to it, this moss will last a very long time. It takes a big 8oz bag to get a decent amount of moss, and you do not have to rinse the bag afterward. The 2 oz bags would work great for medium and small terrariums.
I also ordered the chartreuse because it was on sale There were some brown spots, but it was mostly the color seen in the photo. The cons are The color I originally ordered (pictured) was Moss Green. The product was more yellow than the picture provided by the A large amount of brown moss can be seen in the bag at the bottom/beneath what can be seen in the picture. I would like to make the following general suggestions If you buy any of the mosses with vibrant colors or darker hues (Fuchsia, Purple, Red, Forest Green, Royal Blue, obviously Brown, etc. ) then you'll get an excellent value for your money. Choosing a more natural and lighter shade (Moss Green, Natural, Dusty Rose, Mango, etc. ) you may encourage brown moss to show through. It was a lucky break for me with the amount of brown in my chartreuse bag, but the few small areas that were brown stood out. The Chartreuse bag is still a good option, as I was happy with the quality, but there is no guarantee that you will not find more or less brown in your bag. The only difference is that it will apparently appear more on some colors.
It is an amazing product! Moss turned out to be perfect for the project I needed it for. The shipping time was in line with what was stated on the purchase page. There were two 3lb bags of loss used for this project, There are two frames, each made from a piece of 2'x4' plywood so that the biggest of them is a full 2'x4'.
In addition, I have edited It is impossible for me to separate reviews for different variants of the same product. I get along just fine with the Green (25140) and Forest (21757) variants, but not with the Chartreuse (21669). Among three color variants I purchased of the Super Moss Reindeer Moss, this particular color, Chartreuse (21669), proved to be the stiffest. There was a problem with the puffiness of the look, as it arrived compressed and flat in the bag and it was difficult or impossible to fluff it out and make it Even so, I noticed a few 1/4s of the bag had become extremely brittle and crumbled in the palms of my hands as I worked. It was still usable and I worked about 3/4s the way through the bag before I realized this. As well as the pieces I had glued down, they had become stiff and I was terrified to work on them anymore. It was necessary for me to throw away the remaining material, and now the canvas I am working with is so unbalanced it's unusable. It is still a good moss in general but the color/variant of this moss.
The quality of this product is poor. Negative reviews are very rare for me. I find this stuff to be In total, I bought five boxes of moss, and all five boxes arrived dry and brittle (this is a departure from the Almost as soon as pressure was applied, the moss fell away. In at least a quarter of the box, all that was left was "moss dust" and the rest of it was small and fragile. There were no moss clumps bigger than those of a Cotten ball on average. About half of the box was unusable for my project. Seller didn't respond to my emails when I contacted him A responsive company.
While the moss has an attractive texture and color, it is profusely bleeding Surfaces that are light in color tend to retain the green stain. As a matter of fact, I do not believe Super Moss is suitable for use in light colored hanging baskets or if the contents might drip onto a light colored surface, such as a deck or wall. Almost all container plants need watering at least once a week. When wet, this moss can be extremely difficult to handle. Take care to use it in a smart way.
