So it comes to be like that
There is a very slight bleeding, but no more than with other reindeer moss I've Mauve color did not hold up well, but I used it in a space where I did not care if it bled, and I have no means of inspecting if it did. It has been 7 months since the greens were installed and they are still nice.
The answer is yes, I believe. If it gets into food, it should not be used. Additionally, it can be bought at a craft store for a MUCH better price and you get a lot more of it than at the home improvement store.

It is very nice.
I received it in a small plastic bag, badly packed and overcrowded. A little bit of water can be seen on the moss.
