People figurines were created by our kids' group. Because the wrap dries and hardens in half an hour, the kids had to work quickly.

e. During the setting process, the bandages feel cold to the touch. I'm not sure why this is an endothermic process when applying plaster of Paris is exothermic - When you touch it, it becomes very hot! This isn't even plaster of Paris; it has a completely different chemical composition! Even with 10 layers, the bandages are crisp but not hard after the setting process is completed. It's not the same as a plaster cast, which hardens over time. hard - Even after setting, these bandages are extremely easy to bend/crush by hand, and a set shape will not withstand any force.
It's a high-quality product; I used vaseline on the children's faces to make the masks.
Face molds are molds of people's faces. The first two attempts failed due to a lack of clear instructions, but once I figured out how to wet the product and smooth each piece as I built the form, it performed flawlessly and the results were excellent.
I like to keep some old-fashioned plaster impregnated casting material on hand in my survival kit as a retired MD. Individually wrapped in airtight celophane, these should keep for a long time in storage. In case I need to set something during a crisis, I also keep casting cotton and casting sock material on hand. Fiberglass casting is more modern, but it dries out when stored.
We use these over chicken wire before applying a layer of pure Plaster of Paris for sculpture, and the results are fantastic.
Fast drying, strong, and cutting is a breeze. I definitely got better quality and a better deal than I did from my previous sculpture vendor. For future projects, I will continue to order this. I'm considering using it as a support for my left weakened wrist; I'm aware that medical technicians also use this bandage.
Some people have more plaster on their bodies than others. I was working on a big project, and it seemed like 4" was too small for a lot of people. This time, reorder 6" as well.
What I was looking for. I'd never heard of them. Simple to work with.
