Questions & Answers

Is the wax made from natural ingredients? Although your company name includes the word "organic," the product description does not specify that it is made from organic soy beans. ?

According to most people's definitions today, it is not organic. The fact that it is derived from a biological or living plant is the source of our name, American Soy Organics. We've been trying to create a true Certified Organic soybean wax, but the volume required makes it nearly impossible right now. Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. Organic Soy from the United States of America (Michael American Soy)

"Heat to 140°F, then add fragrance," according to the instructions on the purchased bag. "Reduce the temperature to 105 degrees Fahrenheit and pour." Heat to 165 degrees Fahrenheit, according to the product page's instructions. ?

I melted mine in a double boiler and waited for it to cool completely. I didn't use a thermometer to determine the temperature. Remove the wax from the heat and set aside to cool until you can wrap your hands around the sides of the metal pitcher. After that, you can add your essential oils.

I'm not sure how long I should let my candles cure before lighting them. ?

It is recommended that you wait at least 48 hours before making a decision.

It's inexpensive and cures well
5/5

I'm new to candlemaking, but this wax is fantastic. Since I discovered that it does not cure well at 105 degrees, I do not follow the pouring instructions. I simply wait until my wax has become extremely cloudy before doing so, and my candles have cured beautifully thus far.

This is not the best! I am dissatisfied with this product; it has been a waste of my time and money
3/5

When I first received the wax, it was nearly melted when the package was delivered. It seemed promising, so I let it cool. I picked up the bag and bam, the bag busted. I recovered what I could and then went about making my candles. I was constantly sinking after making several batches of candles. I also did a batch with 12% fragrance, which was a nightmare. I'm a wreck. This product does not make me happy!!.

Works
4/5

It was a success. Anyone experiencing "curdling" problems as described in other reviews should simply pour at a higher temperature. This brand of wax appears to be a little more picky when it comes to pouring temperature. I'd pour somewhere between 135 and 150 mL. There is no lower limit than 140. It'll curdle if it's milky or foggy.

Absolutely dreadful
3/5

I gave this wax three stars at first, but after using it for a few days, I'm downgrading it to one star. This is the most ineffective wax I've ever used. I followed the manufacturer's instructions to the letter, but the results were disastrous. I followed other people's advice and had a bad experience. Tops that are rough and wrinkly, with horrible frosting, sinkholes, and fragrance oil leaching. I've used a lot of soy products in the past and never had any issues until I tried this garbage.

This is the very first time
5/5

Will I Make Another Purchase?   In my opinion, it is a fantastic deal. I didn't have any of the major problems, such as sink holes or bumps, that I read about in other people's reviews. The description said it had a 2012% fragrance oil load, but I had a 2010% fragrance oil load and I noticed some sweating and of course the only issue I had was a not I was able to get 43 hours of burn time out of an 8oz candle, and 23 hours out of a 4oz candle. I had no issues with packaging, and it arrived quickly; considering this was my first time making a candle, I think it worked out well for me. I would purchase this product again. br>Recent changes: There were no issues with the wax. It's fantastic, in my opinion. Smooth tops, even burns, and great glass adhesion have all been consistent for me. With more testing, I was able to eliminate sweating and achieve a higher cold and hot scent throw. I'm very pleased with the results! There isn't a single issue with the wax. All that is required of the user is that they conduct appropriate tests.

Wax slid all over the place because of the horrendous packaging
3/5

Large sink holes can be found in candles. Horribly packaged! 25 pounds of wax chips in a single, low-cost bag? This is not a good idea. You can see what happened to my box during transit by looking at the photos I took. The sides are open to allow delivery drivers to pick up the box, but they punctured the plastic bag containing the wax chips, causing the wax to pour into the box and out the side through the hand hole! I had to scoop out all of the wax and place it in smaller freezer-safe bags, each holding about 5 pounds. That's how it should've been packaged in the first place (in 5 pound bags). ) If you're only going to use one bag, make sure it's strong enough not to tear. Furthermore, the box has no side holes. I was able to get rid of more than 6 pounds of wax. I can only imagine how much of a shambles the delivery driver had to go through. When I repackaged the wax myself, it ended up all over the place! It's a complete disaster. Because the chips are so small, they end up all over the place, smashed into the carpet and the floor. To be honest, I'm quite upset. Let's get to the meat of the matter: the product itself. Every week, I make hundreds of candles as the owner of a candle company. I've had no problems with this brand in the past, but the first batch I made today had terrible sink holes and uneven tops. After drying, I had to use a heat gun to try to even out the tops, which took several hours of my time. I'm not sure what caused this. This has never happened when I pour at the same temperature. Perhaps I received a faulty batch of wax. To put it mildly, I'm dissatisfied, and I doubt I'll order from this seller again.

Very well done
5/5

I like how these set; there were no cracks or crystals, and the tops were nice and smooth. I used both wooden and cotton wicks in glass jars, and the results were the same. I will buy this wax again. It also arrived in a bag in a box in another box and was undamaged, and surprisingly, the wax did not melt together, despite the fact that I live in Hawaii, where it is extremely hot. So far, it's been holding up well.

Wax of excellent quality that burns for a long time! Wax is an amazing substance
5/5

I used a low-heat double boiler method. WAX SHOULD NOT BE COOKED. I made a plain white candle and scented it with essential oil, and it turned out beautifully! The burn is extremely long-lasting. br>I also used it for a kids' craft day, where we melted small bits of crayon in it for color and added essential oils, which turned out fantastic! It was a huge hit! For the candles, I used vintage jars and glass barware.
