This will be the case. It was simple to adjust the height of the lift so that it was at the right level.
A manufacturer, Arrow Cabinet, provided me with the insert. Having to buy it separately was not possible for me.

They were on time and it took us a little longer to put them together than we anticipated partly because we didn't follow the instructions. If you hesitate to remove the wood block until they tell you to, you could lose money and time. A mistake resulted in us breaking one of the plastic glides, and Hariet in customer service was fantastic to work with! I received a set of extra plastic guides at no cost from her. Thanks to my new cabinet, I now have everything I need!.
It was the perfect size for my small sewing room thanks to my LaVerne and Shirley sewing cabinet. Despite the large size of the lift, my Bernina 820 is able to fit comfortably on it. Despite being fairly large, the storage drawers provide ample space, and I appreciate the soft close feature. A side table is handy when I want to use my serger. A lot of people have commented on how much they love their sewing tables.
