Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this would like to emboss and stamp my initials on a glass pendant. Can you help me with raising alcohol inks? I like them but want raised effects. ?

I can't imagine it's anything more than Stazon is a good choice.

When you fill them with water, are you suppose to add any brand new water?

The pad should not be submerged in water. A craft pad is used to put ink on and a bit of water over it. If you spray it on after you mix it on your paper, you can get better results. Check out some Distress Ink videos to learn how to use these!

Is it possible to use hand stampers as well as this?

The stamp will have a variety of colors, so the colors won't be uniform throughout the design The 'distressed' look is a result of this. A good dark black ink pad to try is the Momento Ink pad. It is called Tuxedo black. I hope this helps in any way. When you use distressing ink your image will become mottled, blotchy and monotone.

A portrait case has been created using this! To make portrait cases for a celebrity gifting event, I used this program
5/5

Thanks so much! I'm very pleased with it. During this time, it stayed wet long enough to apply the embossing powder which did not smear. If it were a bit sticker, that would be nice. There were some things I noticed that weren't right It can be sticky at times where the powder does not stay as well after dumping off excess. There is one thing that I did notice is that the lid does not stay on very tight, so I wonder if it will dry Should this occur, I will keep an eye on it and update you!.

What a great idea! What a cool idea! It was just what I needed for a complete vintage look for my junk journal
5/5

My first thought was to play with it as soon as it arrived. After burning one side of the ad, I bent the ad and applied the ink after applying the ink. My first attempt was to lightly ink a photo with a sponge. By misting some water onto it, I was able to remove it. The ink pad was printed with a picture of the ad and I blended it with a sponge to help blend the color. After dropping some water on it, I dried it off with my finger. My favorite outcome from all three experiments was the one of the time lapse experiment. It would seem the ink pad was a bit dry, but that's the only flaw I see. Before it dries out, I hope it will last for a while.

There is garbage
3/5

It arrived today, 16 February 2019, and I ordered it for my wife. She has had a number of ink pads from the Tim Holtz line and this one is a ripoff. Ink just disappears or feels as if something was added to the pad to make it appear new after using it to make a junk journal, and she's now left with a dried up pad. The seller is a scam! Do not buy from her!.

I really enjoy using it and it works great
5/5

This product was discovered in a tutorial, I believe. The first time I tried it, it worked well. Although it took me a few days to get used to it, nowadays there's not a day that goes by that I don't find something new to do with The application of ink should be done with special brushes. It's also a good idea to start with a light touch since this is an extremely This product is also water soluble so you can wet the paper before or after you print and do various things with it. In addition to rubber stamps, you can also use a photograph. If you'd like to create a distressed look, you can stamp on parts of the surface rather than covering the entire surface. After using this on and off for over two months, I don't feel the need to reload it The ink is not dry.

The color is rich
4/5

I really enjoy using it. Save money when you buy Ink is what you see here. The system is effective. The color is nice. Use of this tool is fun. The Ranger products I am buying don't exactly tell me what I am paying for. There is fun to be had using all inks! * I have found products that are less expensive produce a similar effect. Although not exactly the same, my purpose calls for a close match. In the event it was on sale, I would buy it again.

A few drops of water remain
3/5

As it arrived wrapped in plastic, it is unlikely that it dried out while in transit. After opening it a month later, very little ink remained on the blending tool, so I will need to buy a new one Generally, one must tinker before using anything that comes with a new system. I had taken off the plastic by the time I tried it and it was too late to return.

In Tattered Rose, the color is closer to beige than pink
4/5

It normally takes me between 150 and 200 hours to make and sell one My wife and I plan to make 200 greeting cards every year, with raised patterns in the background and colored in so as to give them a distinct appearance. Ink pads of all sorts were tried until Jim Holz' Distress Ink pad served me well. Featuring an aged look for papers, fiber, photos, and more, it is advertised as an easy-to use product I was hoping for something more, but I didn't quite find it. It also works really well for coloring raised patterns after I run my cardstock through an embossing folder with my Cuttlebug. An example of a birthday card I embossed with graduation-inspired information can be seen in the customer picture To create the background of the main image, I colored the flower with the tattered rose Distress Ink pad. The color of Tattered Rose is more beige than rose, but I like it nonetheless. Distress Ink pads aren't perfect, but this one is a good choice since it is easy to use.

The colours are very saturated
5/5

The exact shade of green I was trying to find. This is the first time I've used this particular brand of ink, so I am not sure if this is normal, but each colour I purchased came with the pads out of the As for them, they are far superior to the ink I had previously used.
