It is a 1/2 inch thick block, perfect for flowers, etc, and it has good lines for lining up prints. I love them, they have nice grips, and the largest one can hold a round stamp up to 3 1/2 inches comfortably, and the smallest one can hold only 1 1/4 inches. Thank you. I hope this was helpful.
A 1/2" thick layer of paper. Stamping with these blocks is one of my favorites.
The edges of these have a smooth vertical edge, but I cannot comment on the Lawn Fawn ones. While I did buy them thinking I might prefer the shapes over the square ones from Stampin Up, I am not thrilled with the verticals that go straight up and down. To keep my finger tips at ease, I like indentations in the edges. Despite this, these can be useful extras.

It's great to have stamp blocks like this. These assorted size stamps are great to have on hand for most sizes of cling stamps - In the case of larger blocks, you can use more than 1 stamp- Additionally, they have a guide line that allows you to center your stamp. It is the 'finger holds' on the sides of each block that have captured my attention. This makes holding on to the block so much easier for those of us with longer fingernails. the blocks are thick enough that holding them steadily (from inkpad to stamp or vice versa) for inking has decreased the problem of overinking the outlines/sides of my stamps, which causes inconsistent stamped impressions and frustration. It is wasteful to use cardstock or paper that is not needed. When you have a good grip on the blocks, it is also easier when stamping, especially if you use a stamping mat. This means I get very clean stamp impressions regardless of the size.
Highly recommend this set for its value and ease of use.
This is my third set of acrylic blocks, after having square and rectangle ones. As the shape is more comfortable, I wondered if that might be the case. I don't think they do for me but they probably do for others. Although the tops and sides have been rounded, they are a little thicker than my square ones. However, the edges are sharper where the top and side meet. It is slightly beveled on my square ones so it feels more comfortable to me. In addition, there are more grid lines on the squares. As a result of the In some shapes, there are lines, and the number of lines increases with each successive size, but they are not as numerous as on a Lastly, I have a stamp positioner and these would not be compatible with it as it requires a 90 degree angle to align. I should have just stuck with my square acrylic blocks, overall.
There is a sense of substance to these and I find them easy to hold. The course is well worth the money and recommended to anyone just starting out in stamping.
It's great to have these Those sizes are perfect for just about any stamp you might have. The quality is excellent and the grid is very clear. This is a company I would highly recommend.
Each is round and available in 4 sizes, with scalloped edges so they are They are thick and substantial, and there is no limit to the number of stamps that can be applied. Moreover, they are easy.

The other brand of soap I wanted was from a different manufacturer. This is a great set of blocks. These look almost exactly the same as some I wanted earlier from a different company for a lot more money, but these are much.
As far as acrylic blocks are concerned, Apple Pie is my favorite.
