glossy
The printing is done on vellum paper. Glassine paper is a type of paper that is used to protect artwork while it is being shipped or stored.
No, I do not believe that is true. It has a waxy texture that reminds me of flower wrapping paper. But I really like it. Once upon a time, I used lovely paper to wrap a package. The glassine paper is then wrapped around it. It creates a lovely frosted effect on the package. I also use it to wrap gifts, such as tea, so that the original package can be seen through the paper. It's something I enjoy doing with. Although I have not tried it, I believe you can write on it with a permanent marker. dyed with coffee - That project requires a different type of paper.
My copy came in a large box, with the paper in a bag. Because the paper had been folded twice, each sheet had two creases when I laid it out. I ordered it to protect pencil and pastel drawings from being crunched up by creases on the cover sheets. The paper itself is fine; however, if you don't want creased paper, this is not the one to order. I sent it back and placed an order for one that would be delivered flat and wrapped in heavy brown paper.

FYI: Be aware that the paper is packaged in a folded bundle and inserted in a plastic bag if you intend to use it to cover artwork (such as pastels or pencils). The creases remain when you lay it out, which does not make for a professional client presentation. Personally, I don't want my work to be accompanied by a cover that appears to have been slept on. I intend to return it and replace it with glassine paper in a roll or a pad. All other uses should be considered acceptable.
These sheets are perfect for protecting my artwork and covering it. They're what I use to mail art and to keep it safe. When I run out, I'll repurchase these.
I was very pleased with my purchase because the paper was the ideal protective sheet for packaging the art.
The piece will not stick to anything if this is used. Wrapping anything is a very delicate task.
The sheet sizes gave me a lot of leeway when it came to the size of the artwork I was making. I could have pulled the paper taut so it didn't touch the canvas, but that wasn't necessary because this is meant to sit directly on the canvas. An art dealer told me that this was the ideal product for high-end canvas art. I'm glad I took the opportunity to use it. For extra protection, I wrapped the paper in bubble wrap.
This paper is ideal for archiving my artwork. It was delivered unfolded, which was exactly what I had requested! A fantastic purchase!.
To keep resined artwork from sticking to other surfaces, this material is used in the packaging. Love it.
The sheets are large and can be cut to size, which is ideal for preserving my pastel art. For the money, I thought it was a good deal.
