I thought the album was a good buy. The fabric is used for the cover. It looks more expensive than it is because of the stitching - I mean that in a positive light. The album's pages are made of thick paper. It's difficult to get air bubbles out of photos that have been laminated, and the laminate adds glare to the images, as those who have done so know. You don't need to print on special photo paper if you buy this album because the quality paper will not show through. I should have read the description more carefully because the photo corners bothered me. I was looking for a photo album that was "old school": plain white paper with black photo corners I was dissatisfied with the multi-color photo corners and laminate I received. My wife and daughter were touched by the gift of a first-year photo album to their granddaughter.
This is my second purchase of the album. It had to be returned because it could only hold 3x5 photos and only in landscape orientation. Because this is a full-page plastic sheet, you can mix and match sizes, layouts, and anything else you want. The cover is made of a high-quality material that does not feel cheap. It's simple to insert photos into the cover window.
She adores the front cover picture window, the traditional sticky pages, and the extras (i. e. , stickers). To finish her photo album project, she used the stickers that came with it.
The shade of blue is lovely. It's a bluish teal color that we bought. The color is deep and rich, and it's a pleasure to look at. There were a lot of pages in this book. We've put in menus from places we've eaten and other little tidbits, so it could also be used as a scrapbook. This is an excellent product.
The fabric is excellent, and the cover is of high quality. Overall, it's a good album, and it's better than I expected. Purchased as part of a memory book for my new granddaughter. The self-adhesive pages are also of excellent quality and durability.
