Yes, but the edges become dull over time, but they can still cut through the bags.
I believe they were made in Nepal, but I am not certain.
These scissors, I don't believe, are made of porcelain.
The company is, in a nutshell, Chinese. I'm not sure if these are manufactured or assembled in the United States, and I'm not sure why Dee answers her own question rather than the one that was asked- She's got to be a politician, right? 1 The photos were fantastic, and the description was equally so. br>Not so much when you're up close and personal. br>They reminded my wife of the Betty Crocker scissors from the Dollar Store, which are used for, you guessed it, baking. $1 each. In the comfort grip, there is no sense of security. Four fingers could not be inserted into the holes because they were too small. In one of the photos, the person's forefinger appears to be missing. But I didn't realize it until I got the scissors and tried to figure out how they managed to fit four fingers into a single handle. I received them, opened them, and promptly returned them. That's the only suggestion I have: return it as soon as possible.
I bought these for my son because none of the other scissors in our house seemed to fit his left-handed needs. These can be used by both right and left-handed people. Blades are sharp and easy to cut, with a comfortable feel.
They are difficult to operate or don't catch. I wanted something substantial but also simple to work with repeatedly on a variety of materials.
Great sharp scissors that are easy to hold. They're a good size and function well. I'm glad I got three of them, one for each of the house's three rooms.
Because my swollen knuckles fit snugly into the scissor handles, it's easier to use. One pair of blades is for paper plastic (bubble sealed items), one is for plants/herbs, and one is for minor cloth (thread snipping) repairs. I had no idea I needed three pairs of scissors at home. This would make a wonderful present, especially for a young person who is unaware that they require a large number of sissors.
I only wanted one pair, but it came in a three-piece set. Guess what? I'm making good use of them all. One is in the kitchen, another is in the home office, and yet another is at the basement desk. Now it's all taken care of.
I needed a pair of scissors that were easy to use and didn't hurt my hands. That's exactly what these accomplish. I also needed general-purpose scissors to free up my fabric scissors. This is a fantastic solution.
These are "comfortable enough" for a left-handed person to wear. person who is right-handed This is probably the right choice for you if you want some communal scissors in the house that work for both lefties and righties. But I bought these because they were described as "super comfortable" and "left handed scissors" in the description. They've only recently arrived, and I've noticed that the handles are CONTOURED FOR A RIGHTY, not a LEFTY. These are not "left handed scissors," as the description claims. The seller should be more specific in his or her description. These scissors will do the job if you need "anybody" scissors. These aren't the scissors for you if you're tired of scissors that dig into your thumb and need a pair that's contoured for a lefty. br>br>3 stars for misleading advertisingbr>Scissors contoured for the right hand are not left-handed scissors.
