Well - There are 40 solid black cotton strips, each measuring 2 1/2" wide - not at all - I just measured my head and it's around 21", so even if the child had a large head, the knot would be 20". You're just undecided about whether or not you want to stretch. br>Laurabr>Laurabr>Laurabr>Laurabr>Laurabr>Laurabr>La
Before being sold, it's usually treated with something to stop it from absorbing too much water or becoming soiled. It should be fine after washing, just like any other cotton, once it has been washed. I believe it will absorb more water the more you wash it.
I'm not sure if I agree or disagree - Only yarn crochet has been my experience. I'm sorry, but I'm unable to assist you at this time.

br>br>If you're using this for quilt sashing, you'll need to adjust your piecing to account for the fact that the overall width is greater than 3. 5 (as shown in the first image). Expect to collect small black "poppyseeds" for the rest of your life - even after putting the strips in the dryer and tumbling them! The color is a deep black. The black background brings out the colors in the bother. It's simple to use and accurate to measure. It was simple to put together thanks to the precut strips. Not the see-through cotton you get from some manufacturers, but good quality thick cotton.
It's also off in terms of color. This is my second purchase of this item, and both of them have one strip missing. It may not appear to be much, but it adds up quickly, especially when buying in bulk, as I have been.
It's a bright, deep black, which is ideal for the quilt I'm working on. I was unable to locate plain black 2. This is one way to get a specific color without having to go somewhere. 5 material any where, or should I say near where I live. I would definitely buy from them again.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Some of it will be used as quilt binding.
Once used, the fuzzies from the frayed ends get all over the place.
After washing, the cloth shredded and became unstable. It clogged our dryer to the point where we now have to hire someone to fix it.
Using these will make a quilter's life a lot easier. There is no need to cut or clean up. These have been meticulously cut.
