Am pleased to have been These quilts are simple but visually pleasing, will work up quickly, and can be made in a variety of fabrics. I think Fabric Café is doing it right. Placing medium, light, and dark values is a clever move to make a statement.
It is a pleasure to see this pattern. The forms are simple and quick to fill out. As a member of my quilt guild, I make a lot of "throw" size quilts for There is a problem with these patterns in that they require 45” fabric, which is not easy to find in most Nowadays they rarely make fabric with a 45" width. 1-out of 10 is typical for me As opposed to the one yard requested, 1/4 yard is sufficient.
According to the description, this book was just as advertised. These quilting books are all good. I have several others by her. There are enough patterns in these books to satisfy both a beginner and those who donate quilts to charity.
There are many quilting patterns in this book that will be easy to follow My mother and I have several other books of hers, and we love to make quilts using just three yards of fabric.
There isn't much to it, more like a pamphlet or pamphletette. Those in there look nice and I will be making some of them. I thought there would be more patterns, but those in there are nice. I might have overlooked how many patterns were in it because it said so. I also enjoyed the concept.
