4 steps to use it: (1) peel silk screen stencil and place adhesive transfers over chosen suface; (2) lightly drag paint over stencil with squeegee; (3) peel off your stencils from the surface; (4) clean silk screen stencil in waters and dry this stencils

Please explain this product to me; it appears to be a sticker rather than a stencil, and the design is not cut out?

It's a mesh stencil that adheres to the surface you're painting on. It's preferable because it stays put. Although these work well with paste paints, I still used chalk paint and a stencil dabbler. Wash as soon as possible and hang to dry.

What kind of paint should these be painted with? What am I doing wrong when I use acrylic and it bleeds through and makes a mess?

Chalk paste is the best paint for silk screen stencils, but if you must use acrylic paint, make sure the silk screen stencil is tightly adhered, and then remove the stencils after the paint has dried.

Do they have a tendency to stick their backs to the window?

I believe it would at least once or twice, as they are only re-usable a few times.

The stencil appears to be great at first glance, but I only used it once before struggling to get it to stick to my second project; I'm disappointed in the product, and the company should include a piece of cardboard behind the transfer to ensure safe delivery.

A stencil was not used

It's just a sticker that resembles a stencil, not the real thing. Don't make the same mistake I did and use it to stencil onto canvas bags for mother's day gifts for my students.

These stencils are one of my favorites because they always look great. This is the sixth time I've used it, and it's still working for me. Excellent product.
