I don't know, but I would like to. In my partner's case, it is used for wood applications to make permanent furniture.
I guess it's feasible to use the roller because it's made of hard rubber, but I think it might be better to use something involving a little heat to press down a fabric seam.

My friend and I bought these rollers for doing acrylic gel transfers and other photo processes, and they are perfect. The roller is neither too hard nor too soft, and is perfect for rolling out wrinkles and bubbles, for mounting by hand, and they come in two sizes for different projects.
I use it to apply vinyl transfers to some surfaces prior to laser cutting and laser engraving. They are a part of my day-to-day routine. Two years ago, they wore out after I had them for a while. In addition to wearing out the metal bracket that holds the handle to the roller part, the hole where the roller goes through the metal grew over time, and now the roller doesn't roll correctly.
