Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this twice if I want to cover a larger area?

Yes, you can place it twice or press it half-and-half before going over it all over again. The smooth surface of the hot plate is appealing.

What size transfer sheets do I need for a heat press that measures 6" x 7"?

This 6x7 heat press is perfect for baby onesies, tea towels, and oven mitts, among other things. The ideal size for a wide range of blanks. 9x9 is, in my opinion, the second best option. The size of your heat press will be determined by the size of your project; you want the press to cover your transfer completely or do half and then the other half. I hope this information aids you in making an educated choice!

Is it possible to make larger shirts with the smaller one?

HTV works best when the source of heat used to heat your design does not move around on the surface. The Cricut Easy Press is ideal for your craft projects because it provides even pressure and consistent heat. However, the closer the size of your heat press is to your design, the more consistent the adherence of the htv for your project will be. The less you move the press, the better, so if you have a large design, a larger press will be better.

Hello, does it work on a 220v power supply?

Maximum voltage is 120 volts. Outside of the United States, it is not recommended.

One of the best purchases I've ever made! With this heat press, your transfers are almost certain to be successful! br>I purchased this as part of my baby shower onesie decorating station (see photos)
5/5

I make a onesie decorating kit that you can find on the mercari app by searching for "skvk. " I was concerned about leaving an iron out in the open with children nearby. So it's not only a better option for heating evenly (giving a better result with iron on decals), but it's also safer because it rests on its stand rather than leaving the hot plate exposed when not in use. It also has a ten-minute auto-shutoff feature, and when you turn it back on, it remembers the last setting you used, so you don't have to keep changing it. It heats up quickly and cleans up easily (although some people in the shower took advantage of it). place the iron on the decal's adhesive/glue side). It was as good as new after a quick application of windex and baking soda. br>I could go on and on about this. It comes with an instruction booklet and also directs you to a website with heat recommendations based on the material you're using, which is extremely useful. It also includes "practice material," which is a handy drawstring bag in which to store the heat press. That was a lot of fun for me. In any case, I HIGHLY recommend it. I'm also planning on getting the bigger ones:.

I would not recommend this product
3/5

I've only had it for a month and have only used it on a handful of projects, but it's already throwing error codes. I followed the heat guide on Cricut's website to a tee, so I'm not sure what's up. It melted my project and burned the shirt within 10 seconds of pressing the go button.

I absolutely adore my Heat Press! I had been doing all of my HTV with an iron, but when I saw this heat press on sale, I decided to buy it
5/5

I'm in ecstasy right now. It includes a tray for the heat press to rest on as well as a bag to store it in. The bag is functional, but closing it is difficult due to the cord. It would be ideal if it were a little larger. br>br>The heat press itself is very effective. It heats up quickly and includes a timer to help you determine how long you should press a button. Because my light flickers when I use it, I didn't realize it used so much power. I'll simply install a GFI outlet in the area where I use my heat press, which should prevent the breaker from tripping.

Within a month, it had stopped working
3/5

When it worked, it worked very well. Unfortunately, no matter what temperature I set it to, it began to malfunction (the temperature read 800 degrees and then turned off). It says it doesn't get hotter than 450 degrees, but I was concerned, so I contacted Cricut. Customer service was slow but efficient; it took another month to receive the replacement after my request was approved; I've only used the replacement once; however, I'm considering purchasing one of the table top pressers as a backup.

It's true that the best things come in small packages
5/5

It was a wise decision to purchase the Cricut Easy Press. I bought a larger model for my son last year, and he loved it, so I bought one for my husband, who also loved it. It has quick-warming heat settings, and the product is simple to operate. It's small and compact, so if you're going to be doing a lot of large images, this is the camera for you. It's possible that you'll need to go up a size. This is, however, a fantastic offer that you should not pass up.

This time it'll be different! So I bought this for my wife's creative side, and she opened it, plugged it in, and waited for the magic to happen! It reached 400°F, which was fantastic! Then it began to smoke, rapidly lost temperature, and displayed an E3 code
5/5

The first time it was used, that was all. My wife is now in another room, upset. br>br>Amazon has been wonderful, and we will be receiving another one tomorrow. Cricut, I'm hoping this was a one-in-a-million product that was simply defective, but I'm still waiting to be wowed. br>br>At this time, I am unable to recommend this product! It is a $90 rip-off. If my product was broken right out of the box, I'd be embarrassed. Cricut, you really need to step up your game because you've completely ruined my wife's day. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> br>It appears that I got the one in a million, because the second one works perfectly. Amazon was fantastic (as usual), sending out a replacement and assisting us in returning the damaged one. My wife has already completed several crafts using the new easy press. Thank you so much, Amazon!.

This machine is a squander of money because it only works half the time
3/5

It only works half of the time, and I can't get it to preheat without getting an error message: E5, E7, and E9 are three of the most important elements in the human body. Then it gets really hot, way hotter than the temperature I set, and it melts my vinyl, ruining my project after all of my weeding time. I had only used it a couple of times before experiencing this issue. I looked it up on the internet and discovered that it was a common occurrence. I sent an email to customer service three weeks ago and have yet to receive a reply.

It's difficult to exert sufficient force
3/5

Because of the smaller size, I switched from a traditional heat press to the easy press; it is very convenient to use, and I like the size; however, if the return window was still open, I would return it. I made a few shirts out of Siser Easyweed HTV on 100% cotton and I just did a test run through the washer and dryer and it didn not hold up well. When using this, it's difficult to apply enough pressure, and while it initially appeared to be in good condition, some of the vinyl is wrinkling/pulling up after washing. I'll give it another shot, but I think I'll stick with my regular heat press this time.
