If my memory serves me correctly, the one with no lines is a solid piece of plastic. The one with the lines has an opening that can be used to make journaling patterns. Both items can be used as "plates" for cling rubber stamps or clear acrylic rubber stamps. Regardless of which one you choose, these are excellent investments.
I've never tried ripping around a curve, but I do use it all the time to make curved lines in my journals.

You can use it to draw curves, as a straight edge or a ruler (9"), to stencil or draw through the openings, to mix paint on it, and to stamp with it as an acrylic block. One of my most used tools.
It's everything I hoped for and more. Dyan is a hero of mine. She is a true inspiration, and I hope to collect all of her wonderful items over time. It was great to be able to get it here for such a low price, and the shipping was lightning fast. This block makes being a creative person a lot easier and more enjoyable. If you're making an art journal like me, this handy tool includes a stamp block on which you can stick your unmounted stamps (Dylusions or any cling stamp), and it's the perfect size for a single stamp or multiple stamps at once, which I love. It comes with a ruler and guide marks so you can lay out several stamps on the block exactly how you want them to appear on your journal page before stamping them all at once. There's no need to make any assumptions. There is no such thing as a lucky break. That's not all, and it's certainly not the best part: the ruler can also be used as a tool for your artwork, and the block comes with three additional elements to help you jazz up your journal: a wavy cut side for drawing an interesting border (Dyan has a great tutorial using the wave to cut the pages into decorative layers), a row of circles, and a row of rectangles cut out for making nice borders This is great for people who are afraid of freehand because it gives you a nice straight border as well as perfect but funky circles and rectangles in Dyan's signature freehand style. a lively doodle style There isn't a single person I know who dislikes this journaling block.
This is great for keeping track of your thoughts in your journal. It produces wavy lines that are perfect. There's a ruler on it, as well as circles, rectangles, and curves. The rectangles on the left, however, are my only disappointment. There isn't enough room in the door - As a result, only a limited number of pencils are available.
Returning to the art of rubber stamping, but this time with a focus on journaling and cardmaking! I saw this being used on YouTube and discovered that Amazon had the best price! There are so many obvious uses for it, and I love using it with my clear acrylic stamps!.
I really like the product, but I was disappointed when it arrived scratched and used. Although it's difficult to see in the photo, every time I use it, I'm annoyed by the scratches, which are very visible and distracting when measuring on journal paper.
This is fantastic, and it has earned a spot on my art journaling must-have list. It can be used in a variety of ways, and because it is thinner than most acrylic stamp blocks, it bends slightly, allowing you to use it to stamp in art journals.
This is a fantastic tool! It has a lot of uses. well- made. Great for journals, cardmaking, and just about anything else you can think of that involves paper! I use it far more frequently than I anticipated! It is the perfect size for my DYLUSIONS 5x7" art journal. I would strongly suggest it.
For art journals or planners, this is an excellent tool. Creates straight and curved lines, as well as decorative patterns, in a simple manner. The item is well-designed and easy to clean. The product was well-packaged and arrived safely, with an excellent product description. Delivery was on time. Thanks.
