Is it possible to use ink with this? Is it going to bleed if I use markers or watercolors to paint over an inked piece?

These work really well with ink. But wait until it's completely dry before painting over it. If I were to paint over any type of ink, regardless of the paper, I would use sharpies. Also, if you're worried about smearing your ink, try making a very light "glaze" with 1 part acrylic medium and 2 parts water. Allow to dry after gently painting a thin layer over the dried inks. It is necessary to safeguard your work.

It is not cost effective

The fact that this is the same canvas paper as the larger pads appeals to me. However, because it is the same paper as in the larger pads, buying these is not very cost effective when you can easily cut your own from the larger pads.

I went to every store in my neighborhood looking for something. These were not available in any of the well-known craft stores. I like that I don't have to do any measuring or prep work before I can start painting. When I'm in the mood to create; When the mood strikes, I'd like to paint. These are not to be messed with.
