How well does this work with watercolors?

This ruby satin® can be used with acrylic or oil colors. There is a tendency for some watercolor papers to pill when using it because it is a little firm.

Are the bristles on this brush stiff or soft, and can it be used for painting fur or hair?

If I were to paint hair or fur, I'm not sure I would use this brush, it looks separated at the tip but it does not paint in that way with its brush strokes.

A short grass comb filbert paintbrush is just what I was looking for! This is an excellent book! My only complaint about the grass comb is that it doesn't turn out well every time

The brushes are short, and I like that I can paint animals' fur much more easily when they have short brushes. Also wonderful, since the bristles are staggered, so that the bristles can be flipped quickly to paint hair, grass, or anything calling for quick flicks of the wrist. Fur can easily be layered, making it look beautiful and saving the artist's hand from getting My favorite brush because it feels good in my hand and I think it is one of the better ones I have ever used. My recommendation for any artist, no matter what their skill level is, is to use this brand.

Yes, it was quite a bit more difficult to obtain than most Amazon orders but it was well worth the wait. It is certainly worth checking them out.

In addition to being fantastic for watercolors, they are also wonderful if you prefer a stiffer brush

However, when it comes to watercolor purists, they cannot compare with sable brushes. With that said, I still use them a lot, and would have given them a 5 star rating. However, I don't believe they are For an eighth of that price, they are sold in local art stores and online.
