There is no heat gun with the kit. A turner, foam rolls to hold the cups, two brushes, a couple gloves, a few plastic med cups, popsicle sticks, a silicone mat, and two silicone spreaders are all you need. As well as the screwdriver, this item also comes with instructions

When the arm comes off, what happens?

I have seen all turners that are removable, if you are referring to a turner itself. There is a screw that holds the cup in place while in use, and it can be removed to place on a stand holder when not in use

As part of the description of what's included in the package it mentions "hot air gun" - does that not come with the kit?

A hot air gun is included along with stands and other stuff so you can get started right away.

Good value for the money

It arrived much faster than I had anticipated due to the great packaging. I tested everything out and it works, but I have not yet had the chance to use it. However, I cannot wait for it to spin. It spins slowly and only in one direction, but I can live with that for what I will use Plus, it's super quiet! The turner works great after I switched the switch off and back on it, and it really does spin in both directions after turning it the other way and on again! I love it!.

In a nutshell, Although it works, I have to make sure to change the angles and rotation to make sure I don't get a thickened spot between the epoxy and my lens. You can see in the video how mine slips a little after I buy it which makes it thicken in one It seemed to work perfectly at first and I am convinced it was just a fluke.
