Can you tell me if the stencil is in small pieces or if it is in one ?

The size is large and the quality is excellent

The stencil I need will allow me to spray paint a black steel gate with it. Can you make my stencil blend with the black gate, and would it work for the design I have in mind?

Although the stencil may have worked, I had issues with underpainting since it bled underneath. However, I did not use spray paint but normal acrylic paint. It would certainly have been better if spray paint had been used. Although it is a beautiful stencil, painting it is difficult

On what kind of wood is it best to use it?

Mod Podge is a water-proof coating. Before painting, apply Mod Podge.

It can be used for many purposes. I have used acrylic as a pad as well- Two tote bags a 246 lb paper bag and a white canvas bag. A downloadable PDF version is available from Amazon (also purchased). While painting bag totes, I find that the 5x8 paper pieces of leftover paint are always good for other projects. I keep a paper plate handy to collect the "leftover paint" after I've painted the bag. There are a lot of greeting cards I have made!.

There were some things I should have looked at more carefully in the ad. Initially, I thought the stencil would be bigger. Although it was of good quality, it wasn't the right size for me.

I am in love with it. It is of high quality. Due to its small cut out parts, there was a pain in painting with it. I gave it a 4 star. One of my biggest problems was the skinny points that the paint kept getting under no matter what I did. This is a great product of high quality that I recommend and I will definitely buy it again!.
