I wound up tearing the lining when the lining got snagged by the buckle. After sewing the tear a couple times, my husband catches the tear again if he reaches into the inside pocket. Since the lining material (pure silk) is very delicate, whenever he reaches in, he pulls it On Amazon, I stumbled upon this product and decided to give it a try. Since it's nylon, it will blend in very well with the silk liner and no one will notice the difference. This was the simplest of all the fixes and it looks like the adhesive will stay on without any issues, but I am not sure how well the adhesive will hold once it is dry cleaned, which is why I only gave it a 4 star. As far as my fix goes, my husband is happy and so am I, he is very impressed!.
