Product Description

It is an embroidery and decorative stitching special version of the 15x1. This product is made to meet higher standards so it can last longer.

There is an oversize eye to ensure the thread is not stressed or tangled. In addition, metallic threads can be used for heavier top stitching thread and are easier to thread.

For sewing on knits, ball point needles are used, as the rounded tip permits the needle to pass between the fabric threads, thus cutting them apart.

The number of Needles per size is 30

HAx1 ST and 705H-E needle systems are available for 15x1 ST

There's no need to be concerned about the needle being so large

item description led me to believe that the eye would be a larger size than I actually found it to be. There are some embroidery threads that are too small to fit through the needle's eye.
