I made this item out of fabric. There was no adhesive on the table.
This hook and loop fabric does not have an adhesive backing and is only designed to be sewn on. I'll add that the holding power is excellent once each piece has been installed on both items to be joined together. To put it another way, you won't have to be concerned about the items falling apart and falling off. The "velcro" is good, but it needs to be glued or sewn on.
It is sewn on hook and loop and does not require any adhesive. I might add that it's a little sticky.
Because the item I bought did not come with adhesive, you should check with the seller to make sure you got the right one.

Velcro that wears out quickly is not something I like. I've been testing this and after more than 150 cycles of connecting and disconnecting two pieces, it's still very grippy and requires some effort to pull apart; I'll test it to 500 cycles before using it in anything and update the review. However, so far, it appears to be a fantastic product, with a better value for money than some other options.
Locally, it's nearly impossible to find hook and loop. I needed to replace some parts on a belt that my son was wearing, and he was getting impatient for it to be fixed. br>I placed an order on Amazon and received it promptly. It sewed up beautifully, and it's exactly what my son required to repair his belt. br>Hook and loop is hook and loop, but this stuff appears to be a notch above the rest.
It was used to repair a pair of allegro shoes belonging to my wife. They used Velcro to force people to buy more shoes because the shoes were so good. They had no idea that Velcro was widely available and that people had been sewing for thousands of years. It holds up well. br>br> Enough to make a shoe strap out of. It is simple to use.
The hook portion was all that was used. (All 27 feet) of sewing went quickly and easily. It held the ruffle in place without falling off once it was attached.
On a number of projects, I've used a variety of high-quality hook and loop. I was familiar with the YKK brand because of their zippers, so I decided to give it a try. The quality is excellent, and I am very pleased. It has a powerful grip.
I made canvas covers for my boat seats and center console out of these strips. They gripped well, but after four years in the Florida sun, they were completely rotted. This product should be used only indoors, according to my recommendation.
The hook and loop is excellent. When separated, it sticks together well and makes a good ripping sound. This hook and loop is highly recommended; if you receive the same product as I did, you will not be disappointed.
