As a result of reviewing many reviews and seeing a lot of mixed ones, I have to say these are the best products I have ever bought. Despite having a very small waist, my pants always fit my legs and butt, but not my waist. I am naturally very short and have trouble finding pants that fit well. It's true that the zipper curves a little one way because of the button. It was the same problem I had until I noticed the back of the button has a piece that you have to remove before the pin comes out. The pins I received came after waiting about three weeks only to be let down by them.
