The cheapest of the cheapest. I had a problem fixing the dial when I first tried to adjust it according to the information on the dial. One of the screws holding the adjustment It's cheap ABS plastic, so I've got a screwdriver to put it back in, but the hole is stripped and won't tighten because it's stripped. My watch is holding together rather loosely, so I tried to adjust the remaining dials to my size, but they won't move the full range, and to top it off, the measurements don't match what they're supposed to be. I have a waist size of 37 and a hip size of 40, and they cannot be adjusted to the same value at the same time without the pieces overlapping and covering In addition, the way the bust is shaped, I cannot get an accurate measurement under the bust, since there is not enough slope between the bust and waist. The whole thing is a piece of junk, and some of the dials are unreadable due to fading paint. I'd rather not waste time on such an unnecessary activity.
THE MEASUREMENTS ARE ALWAYS IN CENTIMETERS. NONE OF THEM ARE IN INCHES. It is not worth the price! The only thing I like about it is that I can adjust it to match my measurements when crocheting and knitting sweaters, etc. It is not possible to pin anything (fabric or yarn) to the.
There is no reason for me to I particularly like how easy the dress form is to assemble and how lightweight it is. There are a lot of knobs you can adjust, including one that lengthens the torso. Due to this, you'll have some issues pinning unless you go in at an angle, since the body material is pretty thin. Likewise, the base is all plastic, so you will need to be careful not to damage them since the table will not stand on just I like the feel of the knobs, and they lock in well. It is necessary to pinch the buttons in order to turn them. My downgrade on maneuverability is based on the fact that the rod for the base does not retract Therefore, if you want to move it, you will have to disassemble it or try to balance it on the pole while lifting. This product was on sale so I was able to get it for a great price, and I am satisfied with the quality I received.
I was unable to get in touch with customer service. There is nothing but wonderful things to say about my dress form plus size adjustable mannequin (I know technically it is a dress form and not a mannequin). We never had to replace the top/neck because it came out of joint for no reason, and I just popped it back in place with no more than regular use by me one day, while expanding the neck for a plus-size clothing item to list on Poshmark. As soon as I went to adjust the neck (and all the other adjustments for the dress form) back to the lowest settings, I found that the neck had somehow and somehow come completely and totally out of alignment. As far as I can tell, I've successfully reattached it. There was literally no end to it. If I take a hammer and WHACK it back in place, I will be able to get the neck back in place the right way since it is now broken off in the middle. Basically this is the very thing that is screwing up/breaking the neck. This 1/4 section of the neck can still adjust, but if that piece is broken off, it will no longer be adjustable. A literal anything will do. Despite looking for it, I could not The company I worked for, a local one, was then INSANELY angered because they still had the product under warranty at the time! )
I loved it and it was great before the neck issue happened! It isn't amazing quality, but it still makes an amazing Poshmark mannequin for displaying even medium and small shirts and is most of the time capable of handling even larger clothing items. There's often a spandex material in American shirts (lol). Even the height can be adjusted, which I had no idea for the longest time. It has just been a bad experience overall for me with this. It's time to go back to the drawing board and redesign the neck. Other reviews that I have read have also complained about the adjustable mannequin.
My favorite part of the setup was how easy it was to do. Due to the ease of the procedure the poles do not fit perfectly, making the rig a little It is a little difficult to adjust and I am not sure if it is just my large fingers or if the knobs are small. It's still an upgrade over having nothing but it is not the best mannequin I've seen.
The model is a great help to me when I'm designing clothing. It has everything I am looking for except for the trunk length, which In the future, if I make dresses, I will try to figure out how to work around this problem.
The manequin now makes it easy to make clothes. We had some trouble getting it done, but we managed to do it in the end, as I'll be sewing a jacket and this will make it easier to pin together the pieces.
Despite being lightweight, it serves the purpose it is intended for. I was very pleased with how easy it was to put together and the value for what I paid for it was great. It was set up with a set of extra pads (extra) that I purchased, so that I could customize it according to my I couldn't figure out how to lengthen the waistline once I figured out how to use the dials, but it matched my back waist length because I cannot figure out how to move the dials.
