I had hoped that this would work. A mask made from homemade elastic can be adjusted easily with this method. You have to be quite creative to get the elastic into the tiny holes, but you can get it done by using angled craft tweezers with pin noses. Since I bought this product, I have used forty of them so far and none of them have split or broken when stuffing the elastic through the hole. The elastic I've been using is 1/8". This is really the maximum thickness you can use. I do not think it is possible to stuff thicker elastic through the opening because it will be difficult to do so. I recommend this product because it is a very good one.
