Hello Julia,br>This brightly colored Merino wool is a very soft fiber that is commonly used for felting. Splitting the wool into regular sized strips for arm or finger knitting would most likely be too difficult. When knitting or crocheting, yarn is usually made up of a very even strip or thread with one, two, or even three pieces sewn together and threaded onto a hook or needle to make a blanket or afghan. If you were to pull this wool apart, you'd have to be very careful to get each roll or strip to be exactly the same width, height, and length of each piece, which I doubt is possible. There is some really big "loopy" yarn that can be finger woven into a blanket or afghan and looks great. This Merino Wool isn't suitable for arm knitting, in my opinion. Sandy H., br>Thank you,br>

Finger knitting will not be possible with this method. It can be used for felting or spinning. If you tried to use it before spinning, it would fall apart.

This was purchased solely for the purpose of learning with, and it is so lovely and soft! It's also extremely fluffy, making drafting a breeze. For high-quality fibers, I strongly suggest this vendor.
The color and shine were 100% better than the picture in real life than the picture in real life than the picture in real life than in real life% It's perfect for ocean waves, waterfalls, and river rapids, with just a hint of metallic/glittery deep blue and a few strands of silky/shiny white. I shrieked when I first saw it. I'm excited to experiment with more hues.

This fiber is absolutely stunning. It's a lot gentler than I had anticipated. It has a lot of sparkles in it, which is really nice. After I finished spinning the first batch, I ordered a second 4oz. I'm planning on making a two-ply and pairing it with a white, and I'll try to post the finished product.

These fibers are absolutely stunning, and the photos don't do the stellina justice! I've been spinning them on a drop spindle, and it's been a lot of fun seeing what color combinations emerge! They're incredibly soft to work with, but the yarn feels incredibly strong and long-lasting!.
