Bucilla Gnomes, Felt Applique Christmas Ornaments, Set of 6

In July, I placed an order for these adorable Gnomes and Mushrooms. I enjoy the Gnomes so much that I just finished them today and will begin the Mushrooms tomorrow! I had to learn not to pull too hard on the floss because it breaks easily. These are my first time working with these types of kits, and they're a lot of fun. I'm getting better at putting them together; one took me about three days to complete, working about four hours per day. I just finished the last Gnome in about 6 hours, and I have another kit of these to finish up before ordering more. One set is for my sister, and the other is for me; my sister enjoys Gnomes, so I'm sure she'll like them.

They're quite adorable. The peach felt, on the other hand, is very thin and subpar. Many of the red beads are useless because they lack a hole. I had to use beads from another kit because I didn't have any new ones.

So far, this has been my favorite kit! These Christmas gnomes are my absolute favorite. So far, I've only built gnomes. The thread is very thin, which is why I gave it four stars. As I tightened my stitches, it kept breaking. This seems to be the case with the newer kits. When I'm done with the mushroom houses, I'll do another review. So far, creating this kit has been a lot of fun. So far, I've completed about ten kits. My supplies are kept in a plastic sterilite food storage box that I purchased. They're always useful and well-organized. I bought a bead box with individual cups for my sequins and beads, which is convenient and keeps my sequins and beads organized. br>br>I'm just about done with the Mushrooms. They're absolutely adorable. It took approximately two hours. The kit should be completed in 5 weeks. I averaged 4 hours of work per day. This is a kit I strongly suggest. The colors are vibrant and appealing. The thread was a little thin this time, but I had plenty to finish the kit.

This kit appeals to me. I'm buying for the second time. To be sure, they take time, but if you're a Bucilla fan, you already know that. The felt is nice, but the red sequins are strange, so I'd suggest getting something else. The gnomes and their homes are quite substantial. They're about the size of a hand, and everyone I gave them to fell in love with them. I appreciate the fact that Amazon does not charge for shipping, as other sites do.
