Questions & Answers
No hole. You must cut a hole if you desire one. In the one I made, I didn't make a hole. It works well as a table skirt for a small round table.
I rarely, if ever, cover the back of hand-sewn items. If you'd rather hide it, go ahead and do so. Simply cut a piece of cotton fabric the same shape and size as the tree skirt and sew it around the edge with a decorative stitch. Using a piece of cloth to hold the shape and make it stronger and more durable is a good idea. It ought to be indestructible!
Your item is not washable due to the fact that it is made of felt, but it can be dry cleaned. I've made a lot of felt applique projects, and they're all pretty tough.
The center hole has been cut out of this item. If you don't want to cut the hole out, you can do so. In addition, the felt does not have a stamp for the center hole.
Selected User Reviews For Bucilla Candy Snowman Tree Skirt Felt Applique Kit, 86307 43-Inch Round
The materials are of good quality, and the instructions are comprehensive and easy to follow. For the past five decades, Bucilla designs for felt and embellished holiday items have been my favorites!.
I've made more than 25 skirts and stockings and have never had this problem. br>If someone had looked at the skirt, they would have noticed that the numbers were far too small. I completed one and am currently working on the other. Everything is for the benefit of my grandchildren. It came out looking fantastic!.
This candy snowman skirt is for my other son, and I just finished one for one of my sons. So far, everything has gone well. It will turn out fine if you follow the instructions. I estimate that it will take me around 100 hours to finish.
This skirt was made as a family heirloom. Everything was included and the instructions were relatively simple to follow. The poor quality of the green felt base, on the other hand, disappointed me greatly. It was so thin that it could almost be seen through it when held up to the light. I'd like to make five more skirts to pass down, but the time and effort it takes to make and attach all of the pieces doesn't seem worth it for a piece that is so inferior to the rest of the product.
This is a product I previously purchased and assembled while visiting relatives in Florida, so I am familiar with its quality. br>On the Candy Snowman tree skirt, the stitch and cutting markings on the felt were faint and difficult to read. br>This design calls for the use of colored pipe cleaners, which were not included in the kit, which I thought was a bit short-sighted on Bucilla's part and should have been included. br>There are enough threads and other materials to finish the tree skirt, and it looks fantastic when finished.
When I opened it as a Christmas present, there was no embroidery thread, no beads, and no sequences. br> I'm very dissatisfied!.
Ribbon candy is something I made myself. It was a disgrace to them.
I bought it as a gift for my mother, who loves it a lot. It's a good gift for people who enjoy manual labor and the holiday season.
