I am giving this stocking as a Christmas present for my nephew and his girlfriend Her name is Kelly. Besides a grey cat, they also have a dog One cat is now black despite being a black cat in the past. The silver thread I used on the cats is silk. To make their eyes and eyelashes I glued googlie eyes onto Besides whiskers, I also gave them eyebrows. After I completed the whiskers, I moved on to the hair. In order to weave through the whiskers I had already embroidered on, I stuck three strands of thread through the holes of the stitches. For each whisker, I embroidered it like that. I do not have any instructions on how to attach the cord to the loose green yarn however, I am guessing it will be easy. The threads I took were 4 stands each. The thread was pulled up as if to embroider. Tie the thread in a twist. Just a small portion should be laid down on the This portion of the stitch is tacked down with a needle and one strand of thread. Keeping this in mind along the way is essential. The instructions are easy to follow if you've ever followed a pattern there are lots of illustrations to help you along the way. An assembly step by step. As a gift for a baby, I made this stocking for the mom. She was delighted to have an item that would be cherished for many years.

One of the kits I used was short on one item. When I contacted Bucilla customer service, they sent out a replacement so that I could receive my stocking in time for Christmas. I had a good experience all around.

It is something I have done before -- both making and buying these stockings. Making them doesn't take a lot of skill, but it does involve some knowledge. The only downside is that I wouldn't describe them as easy to put together, because it takes some time, but it's all part of the process. There are a lot of pretty things in this box, as well as my stepson who is very pleased with it.

Bucilla Christmas stocking kits have been made for 40 years by me. It is true that the quality of the sequins and thread in the newer kits is poorer. There is nothing as beautiful after they have been completed as these kits.

While this makes for a great project, it will take a lot of time if you don't usually sew. But it is worth it in the end! I made this for my son for his Christmas stocking and it turned out so beautiful and special. You're the best!.

It's beautiful, but you need to work hard at it! You should be patient and eager to give much love if you are looking for the ideal job

This will be a lot of work, but a great result if you follow the directions to the letter. During the 10 days, I spent 3 to 4 hours a day on the project. Having no experience was a huge disadvantage.
