All seems fine except for the fact that there is no color code on the thread. I think this is the most important issue. This is a gift I got for my girlfriend and just found out about the thread today. It is my hope that you will be able to choose a color to finish with if you run out of one. Several minutes ago, I was with her at Walmart trying to figure out what color she needs for finishing a project. There are so many shades of gold that it is almost impossible to figure out what color you need. As far as I know, there is no standard code between manufacturers or even lot numbers within the same manufacturer to guarantee Anybody with information about this is welcome to comment. Since she is sewing pillow cases that will have to be washed, I am not familiar with how colorfast the thread will be. When you're making a project like "home sweet home" that will be framed, I'm not sure how UV will affect the colors. Thanks for any comments you might have about what has just been written. I am checking to see if it's too late to get This might be a good place to start for beginners. It doesn't need to last. I know that if my kid or a beginner made something, I would treasure it and it should last.
Ada cloth is a new term to me. I didn't know what it was. I should have done more research before hand. As opposed to receiving plain fabric, I was hoping there would be more choices. Research the difference between cross stitch and embroidery if you are new like me and you will find that cross stitch uses different fabric and different patterns than embroidery. Unlike the ada cloth (which is thick with square like holes for your needle), I was a little disappointed in this method, but it's my fault for not researching that method.

In a nutshell, The amount of items in this pack is much more than I expected, so I'm glad it came with more than I expected. There is no distortion in the embroidery rings at all, a lot of threads are included, as well as a great size, it's just a great set of embroidery rings for embroidery.
All of the other tools in the kit are extremely useful, and I am impressed by the variety of thread colors. This kit is very well-made and will last a long time. If I had to do this again, I would definitely purchase it.
The colors are nice and the paper keeping the thread together is good, but the paper comes off when you touch it, and the numbers so that you can identify the colors do not exist. I did not receive a pin cushion, either. As of now, as far as the rings go, they are quite sturdy. There is a lot of bendability to the pins they are usually very soft.
It occurred to me just now that the measuring tape in this kit is WAY off. There is a difference of about one-third inch in the inch measurements. The only reason I noticed was because I measured a box for packaging and thought to myself, "That seems really off. ". For reference, I have included a picture. Among the tapes I got with this set is the pink tape. It does seem to be okay with other items such as thread, embroidery hoops, shears, etc. Though I have not used all the threads and hoops, the ones I have used have been.
