After you have cross stitched an image, you may wish to melt the canvas from behind to remove it. If the hole is in a really well-lit area, it is very hard to see. My eyes are not so sensitive to small holes since the material is not white but almost clear colored, so I have difficulty spotting them. You can now clearly see the holes if you are sitting in perfect bright light. If there was more contrast between the holes and their surrounding colors, it would've been much easier to spot them As long as you remove it when the image is finished, you won't have a problem!.

Does not come with directions, but DMC has a useful YouTube demonstration video that describes how to use water soluble canvas with their brand. In my expectation, it will act in the same manner. DMC's flat panels came in a roll while mine came in a flat panel. As long as these specifications don't matter too much to the project I'm working on, and the product description reports it can arrive in either rolled form.

I'm completely unhappy with the materials because it's difficult to see any holes in the material. It says in the description that a measure of 100 x 22 cm is stated, but it is totally a lie. The actual measure is 21x 22 cm and I paid The full list is 77 pages. I think it was with shipping costs and everything. Besides that, it took a long time for it to arrive.

The before and after pictures show what the washing looks like. I was able to get it mostly by soaking for about 10 minutes in soapy water. After some light agitation just by rubbing my hands over the work got the rest off. The coating held up while in use, and easily washed off.

This worked well. I put it in water for 20 minutes and all of it was gone. There's no need to run it through a washing machine.
