yes . It will go over an uneven surface, such as the curved top of our chair, and it will work fine, as well as the arm of the chair.
This tape was used to fix a couch in the interior. Everything went smoothly. I'm not sure how well it will withstand UV exposure, but when you say summer, I assume you're referring to sunlight. Given enough time and exposure, the sun will wreak havoc on almost anything.
It's something I've used on my boat and it's worked out well. It can withstand the sun and temperatures of 90 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm not sure how it'll hold up over time, but I don't want to have to re-polster my seats unless it's absolutely necessary! So far, it appears to be quite appealing.
I'm not an expert on dyes, but I have my doubts. The color I received was accurate to the online image and matched my car seat well.

I used Gorilla Glue gel to secure my motorcycle seat, and it works perfectly. Gorilla Glue gel is less brittle and has more give than regular glue.
It's started to come up on some of the edges, so it doesn't look quite as good as it did at first, but I don't think you should expect long-term results. This is only a short-term solution. Also, the area I needed to repair was large enough that three pieces of leather tape were needed side by side, and most of the problems I'm having are where two pieces are butted against each other (see photo). So, if you're only fixing a small area and only need one piece of tape, I believe you'll get even better results. Overall, I still strongly suggest it! br>Review from the start: br>I used this to repair a hole in my leather sofa (before and after photos). It was simple to put together and looks fantastic! After applying, I filled a water bottle halfway with warm water and rolled it back and forth on each piece, which seemed to help. I just put it on today, so I'm not sure how long it'll last, but if it does, I'd recommend it and buy it again if necessary!.
In an attempt to reach the UPS man, my lab had torn the leather strip on my chair. I tried a few things before ordering this to see if I could fix it. It's a perfect match for my leather, and it completely resolved the problem.
Look no further if you're looking for top-notch service. It's thick, malleable, and long-lasting, with excellent adhesion properties. If you make a mistake, you can still separate overlapping parts without causing damage if you do so slowly and carefully. I was so taken aback that I placed a second order.
I like how you can cut it to any size you need it to be. It took some perseverance because this material comes in a roll and wants to roll back up when you want it to flatten out and stick to the couch. Before applying the tape, I applied a layer of "liquid nails" to ensure it adhered well. When someone sits on it, I know it will stretch and move. I wish the dark brown and black colors were interchangeable. But the couch is patched, and I bought some bright pillows to hide the patches, so I guess it'll be fine! :.
I was hesitant to purchase this because I was concerned that it would not work. But boy, was I mistaken! It was simple to use and I had no problems with it. For the past few months, it has stayed put with no corner pulling. One year is on the chair's right arm, while the other is on the seat cushion. Both of these areas were simple to install and are extremely durable. It blends in well enough that it is only noticeable up close. I wish I'd purchased it earlier! I bought two rolls in case I needed them in the future!.
I followed all of the instructions to the letter. Alcohol was used to thoroughly clean the area. I stuck with it for about a week before beginning to lift. It's not very long-lasting, and it's quite thick, so it's obvious that it's a patch. There are better options available. Looks bad and lifts after a short time. This is one you should avoid.
It appears to be difficult to distinguish between the different shades of brown, so I zoomed in on my phone, took screen shots, and labeled them for anyone looking for the darkest brown. Unfortunately, I neglected to do so before purchasing the dark brown 3, which is a shade lighter than my couch. The new dark brown, like the dark brown 2, appears to be darker, though it has a burgundy undertone. I've attached a screenshot. Cat damage on an old couch was easily concealed with this tape. The damage to the couch can be seen, as well as how well this tape covered the other side, which is lighter due to my color selection error. For the other side, I'll definitely order the darker shade.
