There is a small difference in the shade of blue of the new denim than the regular denim. It is a pleasure to hear from you and thank
Putting it in the washing machine and dryer will create a felting effect and cause it to shrink. Washing it gently by hand in cold water and laying it out to dry will not create a felting effect. Although it is soft compared to most wools, it isn't as soft as merino and cashmere, and people with sensitive skin should avoid using it. There is nothing wrong with it having something underneath.
In contrast to fibers such as merino wool or other high-quality yarn purchased from an online yarn retailer, this wool is not soft. Having done that, I have made wool baby diaper covers with this yarn, and softened it by washing it in a lanolin wool wash. They are very nice.
I bought this worsted wool to make my dryer balls instead of the wool roving yarn when I was unable to find it locally. A hot wash and hot dryer cycle was all that was needed to get it to feel nice. As an alternative to roving types, it's an excellent choice.

Because Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or Joann's sell yarn for half the price of this and you get more yarn, I recommend you go there instead. I also saw that this product was smaller than advertised, the needle was a mm rather than a scale. As soon as you begin knitting with it, it feels rough, but fluffy at the same time. As if it was itchy.
Coupons used to be my best source for this yarn while shopping at well known big box craft stores, but recently they no longer carry the same colors! The fact that this book is available on Amazon relieves me, since I have a half-opened copy of it My own completed granny square blanket, and I purchase one or two skeins at a time. I love the wool yarn, it is soft and durable, and holds up if you need to unravel a section and then re-knit it It's a good idea. My other small projects, such as hats and scarves, that I completed with this yarn have been really durable and do well in the wash, but I always remember to hang them up before washing. To be safe, dry the cloth before knitting. Its quality is definitely in line with much more expensive yarns from more reputable sources. These are shops at the end of the road. Prices on Amazon fluctuate a little, but they are still usually close to coupons at other retailers. In the yellow shade I bought the most recent purchase and I'm in love with There is a fun, retro shade of yellow on this skein, and the color on the screen is pretty true to the actual color - it might just be a shade darker or more orange than what I see in person.
I purchased it for my mom to make a sweater for my daughter. We were very pleased with the finished product, as well as the quality. It was pretty pricey, a kid's sweater came out to be 35$. In 6 months and a few cold washes (no dryer at any point), it shrunk once, then again, then again, until it is now 6 inches shorter than it was at the beginning, so that the younger sibling can wear it before it becomes It's a very disappointing experience. There is no point to this product. It's better to stay away from this one, wish I had read other reviews first.
My favorite yarn is Patton's and I have knitted a number of hats and scarves from A subtle heathering of gold accentuates the color of jade, lending it a great deal of depth. My local stores did not have this color (it's a color I bought several years ago). I'm glad to have found it on Amazon. This needle cost a couple dollars more here than at my local store, but I can finish knitting the Christmas present I set out to make.
There's no reason to be concerned about the quality of this yarn, as others have said. Since I'm not knitting anything to wear, I can't tell if it is scratchy or not. It is a lot thinner than I would have expected for worsted weight! The DK might be involved. There is a noticeable difference between this item and the Patons red with the same label There is one thing I dislike, however This is the 4th piece of yarn I have with this skein of yarn I am going to use for a Christmas stocking. Knitting has been a pastime of mine for years, and I've purchased various yarn types, but this is the first time I have experienced this trouble. The situation would be so much worse for me if I were.
There is something special about this yarn - it's soft and lovely There is no comparison to merino wool in terms of its softness. To me, it does not feel scratchy or itchy at all, and I am sensitive to most types of.
If you want to felt your wool, you just need to roll it up and wash it a few times in hot water. Is there any reason you should pay some other person $15 to do this when you can just buy some wool, let the cats play for a few hours, and do it yourself? Despite the fact that this color is dark, there hasn't been any color transfer to the clothes in the dryer, even when I used them on just dark loads at first. Before I start making my laundry I usually add a few drops of essential oils to the balls, which gives my finished laundry a lovely fragrance.
Over the course of my career, I have become an expert spinner. In addition, the paper band on the wool had been torn. The wool appears to have been damaged by moths. The review of another reviewer questioned her wool, questioning thick and thin patches. In this yarn, you don't need to worry about the thickness or the thinness rather, you want it to be consistently spun as a I was upset to be sent a damaged ball of yarn, and I am certain that the shop should have known that it couldn't be sold When I ordered the same wool from this shop a few months ago, the wool arrived in perfect shape.
