It’s 100% acrylic, but very thin, and had some issues with it unraveling, according to what’ve read.
This has a velour texture and is very thin. A small bumble bee was crocheted with it. The other yarn is one I'm unfamiliar with.
That's correct. It's a light and fluffy yarn. This yarn is being used to make an Afghan for me.
I'm afraid I can't give you a recommendation because I haven't purchased this color. After doing some research and looking at a few images online, I believe the color is most likely red. This color is available for purchase on eBay; perhaps a seller who has a skein in hand can provide you with a more definitive answer.

The silver heather yarn I bought at the same time from Lion Brand is barely half the weight and thickness of the mustard, but it's too late to return because I needed it for a last-minute gift. Consistency should be the same, right? The mustard yarn, on the other hand, is perfect!.
The heather gold is amazing and has no knots, but the price keeps going up, so I won't be buying it from Amazon anymore. The price point on here is actually ridiculous when you look at the website and basically any craft store because you could get at least three skeins for the same price, but the golden rod and the two skeins of red Heather are nothing but knots smh I want my money back for them both but Amazon is taking forever. This seemed absurd to me.
When knit, it has a lovely pattern and is extremely soft to the touch. None of the items have been washed. But I made a hat and scarf set for Christmas, and I'm making a temperature blanket for 2020 out of it, and I've amassed quite a stash of it because I buy it whenever I see it for 2. Less than 99%.
No label. There isn't any wrapping. This is how it turned out. It wasn't wrapped in plastic, and there was no label on it. If I don't search my order, I won't be able to check sizing or recommended hook size. It's also being unraveled incorrectly. For the lion brand company, I had much higher hopes.
I've used some pilling yarn that isn't the best. For the hat I'm making, it's perfect. I simply dislike the way the yarn untwists as I knit.
It's a little stretchy and very soft. It turned out to be a fantastic throw!.
Even with all of the flaws, the scarf is soft, but unraveling was a major issue for me. When I made a mistake, this made it extremely difficult and perplexing to see what I'd done and what went wrong. I should have started with a bulkier yarn to learn with, but I couldn't tell if the splitting was due to something I was doing incorrectly or the yarn itself. So take Jennifer Keller's review with a grain of salt.
It was much smaller than anticipated. I expected each roll to be larger for the price of $8 per roll. Needless to say, I don't have enough to complete my project, and I'm debating whether it's worth spending another $16 or if I should look for a different brand.
