Some sellers had this yarn or color backordered and were not able to deliver it for a week or more, while others offered multiple colors only Normally I order packs no matter how little I need, but this one came the next day and looks great! I ordered one skein for a bit more than I would have for other sellers, but the shipping was free and immediate, so it was certainly worth it to me. It's generally a good yarn to work with, and I find Vanna's Choice to be exactly what I'm looking for. The material is soft and pliable, and is just stretchy enough that it is easy to work with, but it has a loose twist, so if you are not careful it can split. Colors blend well together in it and there are a number of choices. As of yet, I have not washed the garment, so I don't know how it will hold up to repeated washings.

Usually, I purchase this yarn at my local Hobby Lobby store, but sadly this color wasn't available there. I had no other option but to drive 40 minutes one way to Joann's craft store to get this. I had to purchase $25 worth of product to ship free with prime shipping for this item as it was an add-on item. After shipping right away, I received the product within 2 business days, and it was perfect. I actually got a better price from this website than from the store.

It is Vanna's Choice and Vanna's Choice Baby from Lion Brand that I use for my most demanding During that time. Premium acrylic worsted weight yarns are used for these projects. Among all the yarns I have ever seen around this price point, these are the softest acrylics I have ever seen. This yarn is not the right one. Neither hooks nor needles can get caught on it because it is smooth and soft. Yarn that looks like cardboard isn't my cup of tea. The local craft and fabric stores don't carry as much variety and quantity as Lion Brand, so I had been ordering it from their website. There are some items that cost two times as much or are add-ons. Be aware that colors may not always match, whether you order from this site or somewhere else on the Internet. As with any color, sometimes it's darker than others, as with the Colonial Blue, sometimes it's brighter than others, like the extremely vibrant aqua, and sometimes it's a different tone entirely, as with Sapphire Blue, which actually has a dark undertone to it. When you buy from a photo anywhere on the web, you take a chance. A closer look at this green reveals it to be a very good match. Buying on Amazon can be a great way to save a lot of money if you take the time to compare these colors' prices. This can be done by going to the website and then choosing what you want. It is not without serious trade offs, however. The lot numbers are not all the same. I have found that even when the lot numbers are the same, there are some quality control issues. Though the colors match quite well, sometimes one skein is a tad glossy than the next, and the texture can vary from one skein to the next. There are times when it does happen, but it's rare. The yarn will be the same thickness, but it will be much thinner than the original. If this is problematic for your project, it depends on the details of your project. It is up to you whether you want to return it if you are buying it directly from Amazon and not from one of the market place sellers. The savings I get are well worth it for how soft the yarn is for the projects I make, such as multicolored afghans, blankets, slouchy hats, market bags, yarn bags, etc.
