The bag I wanted would allow me to carry my knitting, water bottles, tools, and maybe a portable speaker between the upstairs office and the kitchen and deck below. When my kitten decided he liked sleeping in my open basket, I realized it was a great idea for him. Due to the way this is constructed, it does not close all the way, and the kitten got through. I like the interior pockets and its size can hold a large project, like an afghan, or several smaller project bags. It also holds a lot, and its main compartment is roomy enough for a fairly large project. I have not used straight needles in a while, so the tools pocket is better suited to them. DPNS cannot be used, since it is unpadded and its slots are too narrow and deep. I'm afraid smaller wooden needles could be broken if this were to be used as a travel kit. The tool pocket is also not padded. A lot of space is otherwise hard to come by.

I love how spacious it is. The bag has enough room for all my accessories, along with plenty of room for my finished product. When you want it to fit under an airplane seat when you go on vacation, it is collapsible.
