I got it for my wife to use to store her yarn. When we go on road trips, she likes to take her crochet projects with her. The bag she originally had was too small for the project, but as it became bigger, it couldn't keep up. There is plenty of room inside this bag with pockets that line the inside walls and elastic straps at the top of each pocket that help prevent things from falling out. The front of the bag has a nice zipper compartment which includes small pockets for crochet & needle work tools. Additionally, the bag has a decent amount of pockets on both sides, as well as a pocket on the back or front, whichever you prefer. A large fold-over pocket covers one of the opposite sides of the compartment (the side opposite to where the zipper is). As the top of the bag expands, it is small but can hold quite a bit of stuff. An added feature on the inside material is a pull cord and a type of clasp to use to close the bag to prevent things from falling out. If you don't need that feature, you fold it There is a strap that wraps around the bag that can be used for carrying it with the two handles or it has a strap with padding on the strap for greater comfort when carried bag is made out of a really nice and durable material on the outside. I am totally in love with this bag because it's roomy and has a lot of storage options! I chose this tote because it has several pouches for circular needles, which was one reason for choosing it.
