The markers are smooth and there were no broken ones, so there is no chance of yarn snagging. However, I have to say I am a little nervous about this storage box. A review indicated that the blue plastic latch type component holding the box closed was broken and I can see how easily this can occur. While the blue plastic piece of the lock is easy to open, it is more difficult to close it up again. It seems as if it would break right off if I used anymore force. In addition, I discovered that the box actually has removable tabs that you can peel off if you want a larger section in the box. I enjoy the markers because they all work as advertised, and the colors come with exactly 15 markers each, which I like to see, and the markers are also advertised as totaling 150. I could undoubtedly consider removing a star for the fact that the storage box is more than likely to break after when it is used a couple times, but I can't justify it. It helps me use all the different colors for different projects, so I really like them.

There are several broken items visible in this close up photograph, despite the fact that I only took one. So far, I haven't even opened the box, so I will be throwing away quite a few However, I am still giving this a few stars since there are still many things I can use for the price, and the case makes it very convenient to use.

You do get a large amount of material for your money, but after a while, the clips may not clip as well. The stitch markers work better with these clips than most others because they are versatile. The bright colors are also appealing to me, especially when you crochet with different colors of There are some things I would have liked to have changed, such as the container they came in being a little bigger so they don't spill out so much and the closing click being more reliable.

I found them to be of great quality and arrived quickly. In addition to the variety of 10 different colors (slightly different than the images shown), this set includes a snap-closure box as a bonus. Having different colors and markers that are wide open when not locked makes this game more interesting to me. You are less likely to stretch the plastic pushing it into place, so you are able to use them one handed. These markers have overall been a great purchase for me.

Despite the stitch markers working perfectly, I had to replace the case after the first time I opened it. There was a break in the tiny plastic tabs that hold the clasp, so the clasp got popped right The case was one of the biggest reasons I purchased this set. I would not purchase this item.

I am very pleased with this purchase. Several of them broke after a few uses. I bought other ones from a craft store that were cheap. I have used these markers on several projects without having to replace them. This would be a recommendation I would make.
