One year's warranty is included in the purchase price?

Although I do not have a definitive answer, I am going to guess that it is not. I have this unit and it broke after 4 months. As part of a warranty, I contacted the manufacturer who said they would provide me with a replacement unit or a credit and I have not heard back from them despite several attempts to contact them. It has been almost two months since I contacted them and I have not received a response to my initial inquiry. I would not expect them to honor the warranty, even if they provided one, based on the customer service I have encountered so far, or lack thereof.

It only lasted for a short time before it started skipping stitches and being completely unusable. I looked at it and it didn't appear to be very high quality manufacturing, and the seeing machine shop said it wouldn't be worth trying to fix. There were some poorly made mechanisms.

Make sure you get the right weight of string for the material you wish to tie. The bag looks good when tied with the proper string when it's made from jute.
