The reviews indicate it is even more efficient than expected. The learning curve is a bit steep. Additionally, the machine picked up Moissanites , which is fine. I realized that I was only needing to use very light pressure on the stones. As well as the metal conductivity feature, it works well.

I can tell from the way it looks like it's a piece of plastic with a pressure sensor inside. No matter how I touched it, it responded the same way. I used it for about 10 minutes, and then it died. Even new batteries haven't been able to get it to turn on. There are so many fake/ vague reviews on here that it drives me crazy. As much as I wanted to know if the diamond I have is real, I really depended on the results of the test.
