You will find the answer as 4mm and 6/0 in the listing. There can be eight beads per inch, which means there can be eight beads per row. There are only a few beads in each strand. There are 3 beads in each row. This is 7 mm thick. These beads have an opening wide enough to accommodate at least three strands of the wire provided at once. I used them to make a three-dimensional wire elephant and didn't have any trouble getting multiple strands of wire through them. The needles will fit through these holes most of the time. One of the biggest sizes of seed beads, if I'm not mistaken.
Actually, now that you mention it, I just checked and I didn't receive those either, unless you count needles as two bent pieces of wire. There were no tweezers in my package. My mind would not have made the connection!

It is exactly as described and the colors are stunning. It's normal for seed beads to be not the same size, but that's not unusual. Miyuki beads have even sizes and cost more, so you will need to spend more to get them. One thing I will say is that the tweezers advertised in the ad are not included with my leg like some other reviewers have indicated.
Despite all the great colors and the generous amount of beads, there is one thing that bugs me. Choosing this kit is a good idea if you are not concerned with consistent sizes. The size of 6/0 was imperative for me, so I ordered this set at a risk. I am donating this box to my local shelter for kids, since I make jewelry that requires exact spacing, etc. I am not going to request a refund, I am just going to donate this box.
