This texture set has been created especially for metal clay and polymer clay artists. You can use them with paints or clay pots easily by applying a thick or thin layer of paint to the surface of the pot and then adding the texture directly to the surface.

Clay is a great material for this

This is what I use to add some detail to clay slab dishes. seems to work well, and the glaze does not appear to remove the imprint.
