They are very effective for me. I refurbish donated jewelry as a volunteer at a hospice resale shop. Donated jewelry often has missing, mismatched, or discolored backs. I've used these on a wide range of wires and posts, and they've always worked. 9% of the time, to be exact.
The earring backs I received were not as nice as the ones in the photo; in fact, they were worse! These appear to be more appealing. There were 100 gold mines. 100 silver with a flat clear plastic covering that rests against your ear. You can see the gold or silver if you look closely. They were also far too easy to remove!
You won't be able to put them on tightly. They're made of silicone and are easy to put on. Yes, ear wires can slide off unless they are extremely thin. However, these will not slip or fall off most ear wires. They're not my favorite because they're so small and difficult to put on. They're teeny-tiny, after all! I'm talking about very small. They are completely useless to me. For me, it is a setback.

My girlfriend has a habit of losing her earrings. They leap and fall out of her ears like no other woman I've ever seen. I purchased these for her, but she misplaced the entire package, so I had to reorder them. It's a good thing she's cute, lol.
This type of clear safety bullet for dangly earrings is one of my extras to ensure that the earrings do not get lost. Over the years, I've experimented with a variety of them. These are far superior to the others I've tried. They're snug enough to fit all of the standard earring hooks, but not so snug that they rip your ears when you try to put them on or take them off. And the price is the best you'll find (actually - it's the best you'll find). better! br>br>Of course, when you pay such a low price for something, there will always be the odd one that isn't perfect; no company could possibly check every single earring clutch and still sell these for the price I paid; however, I have no complaints and will definitely buy these again. (Of course, I'll have to sell or give away nearly 500 pairs of earrings first, so it could take a while. ) ) ).

I'm not going to do this again. They're a little harder and smaller than the ones I buy at the bead store, and the holes are too small for the niobium wires I use. I tried using an embroidery needle to stretch the holes a little, but it didn't work out very well. If they were just a little bigger and better quality, I'd pay the same for half as many. It's barely noticeable, but it has an impact on the user experience. For my customers, I believe these are a little too difficult to put on and take off. They're a great deal for the money, but I'm not going to use them. They'd be fine if they were just for my personal use, but why would you require so many?.
