These backs are a lot more snug, and they keep my earring in place all day! "Screw-up" was an option I considered. However, this would necessitate modifying the earring by having a jeweler replace the existing post with a threaded post; I'm glad these backs are snug enough!.

I was expecting something pretty bad for the price, but I went ahead and bought it anyway based on previous reviews. It's a good thing I did! I have a set of small diamonds and a set of sapphires that have special meaning for me. The original backs that came with the earrings are essential for keeping them on my ears. To put it mildly, this new set of backs is fantastic! They are larger in diameter than I expected, but not in an obtrusive way, and they lock into all of my studs to keep them in place. So far, I'm very pleased with my purchase. These backs work perfectly with my standard stud earrings (I believe 18 gauge).

Thankfully, my wife only loses the back of her earrings, not the actual earrings. Of course, I had to come up with a way for her to keep them since she wears a mask because of what's going on in the world. I did an amazon search and found plenty of these for all of the earring wearers in my house (including myself, of course). I was skeptical because of the low price, but it turned out to be one of my best purchases that lived up to the hype. The reason for the four stars is that it's a little difficult to take it off, but that's why it's there in the first place.

I used them right away on some earrings that I had almost lost the week before. I have sensitive ears, and most backs and earrings irritate them (unless they are gold). These backs are fantastic! I've been using them for the past week. For starters, they're secure, so I won't lose a stud. They're also hypoallergenic, and they haven't irritated my ears in the least! If you're tired of losing your backs and have sensitive ears, I'd highly recommend these!.

These look great (I got gold) and are far superior to the earring backs that came with some earrings I bought. I don't have to worry about them falling off because they're so snug. br>br>It's also a good idea if you buy cheap earrings with only silicone backs or flimsy metal backs. If I need more, I'll purchase it again.

These are a snug fit, which is exactly what I was looking for. I was fed up with losing earring backs and couldn't believe I could always catch or locate my tiny diamond earrings. These backs are just big enough for my fingers to grip, but not too big. They're easy to install and stay in place. They also do not appear to be low-cost.

On the back of the lobe, one of the piercings was irritated. Although I used a gold stud, the majority of my backings are discolored or worn out. My problem was solved after I used one of these with a gold post earring. The size and sturdiness are both outstanding. I'd like to purchase more.

Many of my friends and I have lost earring backs as a result of wearing masks. These earring backs were inexpensive and did not irritate the ears in any way. I had to use one of my larger and heavier posts to poke through the holes to open them up a little when I first tried putting them on a couple of earrings, but they were perfect after that.
