I know they are silver coloured, but they are obviously not silver, and I'm not sure what kind of metal they are made from I would guess that it is just a cheap base metal.
It won't fit over the 3/4" part of the earpiece, not by a long shot. On general reading glasses made of plastic, it fits snugly.
With the plastic/crystal bead slid down onto the rubber loops, the band can be shrunk to fit around the arm. Moreover, I bought small black rubber washers that I placed on either side of the holder bands to prevent the bands from stretching due to use and age As the little black rings you sometimes find in glass repair kits, these are like this. The front of my glasses have arms made of plastic that get wider as they get closer to the face. Here is what I hope will help

I could not work with the plain rubber ends, which held poorly or not at all, since they were so thin. It seems that the tiny metal bands that have been supposed to tighten on to the eyeglass pieces just slide right off. They are currently the best metal beads I've found even after researching some of the top websites that sell components, which I use to make jewelry. I don't like the corrugated look, but I've seen nothing better. In the near future, I'll be making some necklaces. I am very pleased with these chains, and I find them to be very effective.
In my experience, reading glasses have been a hassle for the past 11 years, which I always associated with a hassle-free solution. It would allow the glasses to move and as a result, prevent the hinges from opening or else the glasses would fall off! The holders in this group are the FIRST to hold their place in history. I've been a fan for a long time.
The ends of all of my previous eyeglasses were too large and my glasses would fall off, so I purchased these hoping they would be smaller/tighter. They did exactly as they said! With the reading glasses attached to the string/holder, I no longer have to worry about them falling off. A jewelry or needle nose pliers will do the rest. Simply open the metal prong, attach, and close it back up with your jewelry or needle nose pliers. Despite the weight of the ends, they are decently strong. I don't feel they're flimsy and they're unlikely to tear easily like other bags I've owned. Glad to hear that. It would definitely be a purchase I would make.
Great price for the package. I have been buying these for a few years and they are well worth the money. There have been no issues with this product. I make eyeglass chains with these, and they are superior to anything available at the material store or at a craft store.
I was looking for something like this! The elastic on the glasses I ordered from another site was too big to stay on. The glasses fall off as a result. The perfectly sized cookies are perfect!.
A few of these necklaces had broken ends, so I attached them to them. I really liked how it turned out. With my new chain, I don't have to throw out the necklaces and the sunglasses look great too. The glasses are well held onto by the glasses.
Before I saw these, I was planning on buying a new one. For six, this is a great deal. My new handlebars arrived yesterday and so far they are working great. One thing I like is that they are tighter on the stem than the ones I had with them before. While the other ones kept sliding, these ones stayed put. Wearing the dress is simple. The end link just needs to be slipped on after the links have been separated. You can keep a chain with these if you have one you want to keep!.
The next time I place an order, I will order again.
