The stainless steel tub sits inside an ABS plastic tub into which the water drains while it spins. Internal drain fittings and hoses are also made of ABS plastic. Hot water use for an extended period of time can degrade the plastic and cause leaking at the seams of the outer plastic tub and the drain fittings.

It is not something I would suggest. Those are made for a full-time job. This is not a machine of that size. Your clothes will have a musty odor if you use too much detergent. I used an old fabric softener bottle with a measuring cup lid as a base. It's about a quarter of a cup, and that's all you'll need for a load of laundry in this machine; you can't use the lid of a detergent measuring cup because that's still too much soap, at 1/2 to a full cup. In fact, when my last bottle of fabric softener ran out, I saved the bottle, rinsed it out, and now I use it to store my detergent. As a result, I always have the detergent measuring cup on hand. Whether it's that lid or a quarter-pounder, there's something for everyone. This machine's cup measuring cup is ideal for it, and it serves me well.

I assumed it was the bottom hose that was leaking a little bit, but nothing that a small Tupperware couldn't catch. br>br>I notice there's still a lot of water on the floor, so I decided to open the back one day, and there it was! It's a small pipe with nowhere to go (spill), so it overflows and contaminates everything electrical! So I used a vacuum hose to direct the water into another Tupperware container that was set up to catch it. br>br>Eventually, I built a small path out of plumbing supplies, cut a hole in the back, and badabing bada boom, the leak was fixed! ($12) There's no longer a risk of electrocution! a few alterations).
It isn't large enough to wash a lot of clothes in, but it is better than going to the laundry mat. It works perfectly when I connect it to my regular washer connections. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I lied months later when I said I could fit everything from two bathroom rugs at once to four pairs of jeans or just a thick comforter on its own. I have no complaints about this washer; in fact, I adore it. I just pass laundry mats and think to myself, "This could be me. " 😀.
This appliance does exactly what it says it will and goes above and beyond. The negative reviews are either fake or from people who can't talk and hold a screwdriver at the same time. br>Make sure the drain hose is pushed all the way into the steel pump drain out tube (bottom rear of appliance) and that the clamp is securely and properly set around it. br>Read the manual and follow the instructions. br>I'm washing several loads a day and it's performing as well as any large-capacity washing machine. br>And Amazon's delivery service is unrivaled. I placed my order on Thursday morning and received it on Friday afternoon. If you need a small machine and have a sink and power outlet nearby, order this washing machine. br>To put it on, I ordered a four-wheel flat-base dolly. Some users claimed they needed an adapter, but I was able to use the one that came with the washer without issue. Just one more thing - Attaching a nylon stock to the drain hose's end to catch lint and prevent clogging is a good idea. Although the washer has a lint filter, I've been using a stocking to collect lint and there is still quite a bit of it.

- Running late at night in an apartment can be quite loud. Tumble makes a lot of noise.
- Large loads are not possible. If you stuff it, it won't do a good job of washing your clothes. You might be able to wash three pairs of jeans and a long-sleeve shirt at the same time, or several white t-shirts. Shirts, for example, or a single load of socks.
- If the water does not spin out of your machine, pause the cycle, empty the hose, and try again. It's possible that air has become trapped in the hose.
- During the rinse cycle, you can't open the lid because it's filling up with water. You'll get an error message and a loud beep, and the load will have to be restarted. Simply pause the load, add fabric softer, close the lids, and then resume the load by pressing the play button once more. br>br>Keep in mind that this machine is designed for apartments and is not intended to perform the same functions as a laundromat. So, if you want to keep your pile small, I suggest doing a couple of loads per day. br>br>Aside from that, it works well, and the speed cycle takes half as long as the rest, which is around 20 minutes.
Don't waste your money on this 55-pound waste of money. It has never worked before. The seller did not respond to three phone calls. I walked away after getting my money back. It felt like a week of hell on earth.
So far, this machine has been ideal; it has a small footprint, but I was able to fit my queen-sized comforter inside with room to spare for, say, sheets. It spins very well and appears to have more features than a less expensive portable washer. What would be better is a longer drain tube because I have trouble keeping it in my kitchen sink. It's not a big deal though because I just put a large cooking pot in the sink and wrap the drain hose around one of the handles. It should last a long time, in my opinion.
